You’ll discover that the Ocean Gate Resort has it all when it comes to selecting just the right accommodations for your visit. Choose from a wide array of room types including our economical deluxe guestrooms in the pines; newly renovated, direct oceanfront accommodations with private and shared balconies or perhaps, a one or two bedroom suite with kitchens. For longer stays, relax in one of our popular individual one and two bedroom oceanfront cottages. All accommodations are outfitted with either one king, two double or two queen beds. ALL ROOMS ARE NON-SMOKING!

Of course, all rooms include direct dial phones with free local calls, 25” cable TV, coffee makers, private tub/shower, hair dryers, iron, ironing board, and free daily newspapers. To accommodate the weather, both heating and air-conditioning are standard. For those late night snacks each room comes equipped with a small refrigerator. Best of all, to start each day all guests are treated to a complimentary full buffet breakfast. Free WI FI access is now available in all guestrooms as well as at our Pavilion.

Waterfront Building

This building features a premium location just feet from the water, a spectacular ocean view and private balconies. All rooms in the Waterfront Building have been recently renovated for your enjoyment! Relax in our new Simmons Beautyrest Pillowtop beds! Rooms are equipped with either one king or two queen size beds. Free in room WIFI. Non-smoking, no pets permitted.

The Cedar Building

The Cedar building is located adjacent to the Waterfront Building, slightly up the hill, and consequently offers a dramatic elevated view of the water. All guest rooms have been beautifully renovated and feature one king or two queen sized beds. Free in-room WIFI. Non-smoking. No pets permitted.

Ocean Ridge

These are among the largest rooms on property, located on a hill with trees on two sides; Ocean Ridge guestrooms offer a wonderful panoramic ocean view and have been newly renovated for 2012. The downstairs rooms share a large deck. Upstairs are two pairs of connecting rooms; the outside rooms have a private deck. Although there are no balconies for the upstairs, inside rooms, large picture windows frame a spectacular distant water view. Free in-room WIFI. Non-smoking. No pets permitted.

The Overlook Building

The Overlook Building is perched on a hill and features a panoramic ocean view framed by trees and a grassy slope. Most guestrooms in the Overlook offer private balconies and several of our larger rooms and suites are located here. Free in-room WIFI.Non-smoking. Pets welcome in select rooms only.

The Island View Building

These rooms are “pet friendly” and also "family friendly" with each of the four guestrooms featuring two double beds as well as a sofa sleeper. Situated next to the Overlook Building, Island View offers elevated water views from the common deck. Newly renovated bathrooms for 2013! Free in-room WIFI. Non-smoking. Pets welcome.

Pine View

Our Pine View Building offers forest and grounds views and is conveniently located near the tennis and basketball courts, fishing pond, pool , breakfast area, and mini-golf course. Just a short walk to the waterfront, you can enjoy the same amenities at a substantial savings. All rooms in the Pine View have two double beds and are conveniently connected to accommodate larger groups. This building also features a one and two bedroom suite. Free WIFI.

The Cottages

Have you ever dreamed about your own cottage on your own Maine Island? At Ocean Gate, dreams become reality. Our two cottages are perched on private points of land and both offer spectacular water views.

Our one bedroom cottage accommodates up to four guests while the two bedroom cottage can accommodate up to eight guests. Both are equipped with everything from a teaspoon to a lobster pot and include full use of the property and our sumptuous breakfast. All linens as well as daily housekeeping service is provided.

One Bedroom Cottages - above

Aside from the ideal location just feet from the ocean, our one bedroom cottage features a separate bedroom with pillowtop king size bed, a living room with sofa sleeper, a full kitchen and a breathtaking view from your private balcony overlooking the ocean. Free WIFI. No Pets Permitted.

Two Bedroom Cottage - above

The large two bedroom cottage features a beautiful ocean view and a private location. The spacious living room, dining area, full kitchen, two bathrooms, and a screened in porch overlooking the water makes this an ideal venue for a family get together. There are two comfortable pillowtop full size beds in one bedroom, one full size bed in the second bedroom and a sofa sleeper in the living room. This cottage accommodates up to eight people. The Suites

There are several family friendly suites at the Ocean Gate Resort, each with their own special character and design. A brief description of each follows:

Overlook Building Suite 232 - above

This is an Ocean Gate favorite with its spectacular elevated water view. Located on the 2nd floor, 232 is a two room suite with two double beds in the entry room and another double bed in a small adjoining bedroom. Sleeps up to 6 persons. Newly renovated for 2012! Free WIFI. Non-smoking. No pets permitted.

Overlook Building Room 231- above

Newly renovated for 2012! This guest room shares the deck with Suite 232 and has one King bed. There is no inside common area or kitchen facility in either room. Combined, 231-232 sleep up to 5-8 persons comfortably. Free WIFI. Non-smoking. No pets permitted.

Overlook Suite 201-204- above

This combination features an efficiency apartment with full kitchen, breakfast bar and fireplace and connects to a guestroom with two double beds. Two full baths and private water view deck. Sleeps up to 6 persons comfortably. Free WIFI. Non-smoking. Pets welcome.

Overlook Suite 202- above

Is a cozy one bedroom suite with kitchenette, dining area, separate living room with sofa sleeper and private bedroom with king bed.; private water view deck. One bath. Sleeps two adults and up to two children comfortably. Free WIFI. Non-smoking. Pets welcome.

Pineview Building- above

Suite 215 features a sunken living room with sleeper sofa and fireplace. The bedroom has two double beds and a common deck with rear grounds view. Free WIFI. Non-smoking. Pets welcome.

Suite 219 is a two bedroom suite with two double beds in the entry room and one double bed in a small, adjoining bedroom. Front grounds view. Free WIFI. Non-smoking. Pets welcome.
